Say NO to Forced Vaccinations in New Jersey!
Join Our Vaccine Choice Call-In Campaign!
New Jersey/USA - October 3, 2009. The federal government has announced that the H1N1/swine flu vaccines will arrive next week. After just a few WEEKS of "safety" testing, 90,000 live virus nasal spray vaccines will be administered to adults and children at public supermarkets, schools, local pharmacies and doctors' offices. For details on the SPREAD of disease through live nasal flu vaccines, please read Dr. Tenpenny's astounding report.
In addition to concerns over vaccine safety and efficacy, NJCVC is outraged at state governments' attempts to force vaccinate their citizens, with no exemptions and strict penalties: See the new MA bill and the recent NY mandate for healthcare employees.
Our Legislators and Health Department must be told that New Jerseyans demand VACCINATION CHOICE! Please forward this message to your friends and family so they can make an informed decision on the new H1N1 (and all) vaccines (as the important facts below are NOT provided by our Health Department) and join us for a state-wide VACCINATION CHOICE call-in campaign EVERY TUESDAY in October (see details at the end of the email).
DID YOU KNOW....????
H1N1 vaccine adverse reactions have included: Guillain-Barre (paralysis); Thrombocytopenia (spontaneous bleeding); anaphylaxis (life threatening allergic reaction); lymphadenopathy (diseased lymph nodes); convulsions; encephalomytis (brain inflammation/damage); optic neuropathy (optic nerve damage); syncope (loss of consciousness); and vasculitis (inflammatory destruction of blood vessels). (package insert: nasal spray) (package insert: injected)
H1N1 vaccine ingredients include: MSG (carcinogen: H1N1 nasal spray); 25 mcg/full dose of thimerosal/mercury (neurotoxin: Sanofi Pasteur multi-dose); formaldehyde (tested carcinogen); hemagglutinin (glycoprotein causes red blood cells to clump and attach to respiratory tract, causing infection); gelatin (allergen); polyethylene glycol p-isoctylphenyl ether (detergent). (see package inserts above)
H1N1 vaccines have NOT been tested for their cancer causing or mutagenic potential. (see package inserts)
H1N1 vaccines are being produced on egg cultures and cell lines, including growth on aborted fetal tissue, as well as dog and African Green monkey cells: Source Link.
H1N1 vaccines are NOT safety tested for pregnant women or nursing mothers (note: pregnant women are a priority target group): "It is not known whether these vaccines can cause fetal harm when administered to a pregnant woman or can affect reproductive capability. It is not known whether the H1N1 vaccine is excreted in human milk." (see package inserts)
H1N1 vaccines caused severe adverse reactions and at least 300 deaths in the 1976 U.S. mass vaccine program. Watch the 60 Minutes exposé.
H1N1 vaccine manufacturers are NOT liable for the vaccine injuries and deaths caused by their vaccines.
We must make it clear to Legislators and our Health Department that NJ Citizens Demand Vaccination Choice. Please join us every Tuesday in October as we call the two top legislators to tell them to MOVE the Concientious Exemption to Mandatory Vaccination bill, A260/S1071. Please also call our Health Department Commissioner and tell her to support vaccination choice and to never allow Forced Vaccination in NJ!

Desperately Seeking M, M and R
Mercks Decision to Focus Solely on Combination MMR Vaccine
Draws Parents Ire and Massive Write-In Campaign
(March 20, 2009, Middletown, NJ) On Christmas Eve 2008, pharmaceutical giant Merck & Co., Inc. quietly announced its decision to stop production of monovalent vaccines for measles, mumps and rubella. The sole U.S. manufacturer of these vaccines said it would be focusing on its combination vaccine, MMRII. This news came as no holiday gift to the millions of parents who quickly understood the implications of Mercks statement.
Unless exempted for legitimate medical and in certain states, religious and/or philosophical reasons, every child in this country is required by state law to receive measles, mumps and rubella vaccines as a requirement for daycare and school admission. Laws vary by state but many states, including New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania, mandate two measles shots and one each of mumps and rubella. Children in these and other states must now receive two combination MMR vaccines. For many American children, Mercks decision amounted to a de facto increase in the number of shots required for school.
Mercks announcement comes at a particularly bad time for those eager to preserve confidence in the childhood vaccination program. Despite vigorous assurances of safety offered by public health officials and the American Academy of Pediatrics, the controversy refuses to go away. While autism remains a dominant worry, there is increasing concern about the relationship between vaccines and a wide range of other autoimmune and neurological conditions, from peanut anaphylaxis and asthma to seizures, diabetes and ADD. Chronically ill children have become the New Normal in our country, says Louise Kuo Habakus, HHP, AADP, vaccination safety advocate and Middletown resident. The numbers of sick children have risen in lockstep with the dramatic ramp-up in the number of shots recommended by the CDC over the past 25 years. Until government and medical leaders can provide some answers behind this apparent epidemic of chronically ill children, parents refuse to be comforted.
Prior availability of the individual measles, mumps and rubella vaccines helped thousands of anxious parents remain in compliance with state vaccination laws. Faced with documented and anecdotal stories linking the combination MMR vaccine to autism and other devastating conditions, many parents were choosing to err on the side of conservatism. They felt better about splitting up and spreading out their childrens shots using an alternative schedule. In the case of the MMR, this meant working with supportive physicians to administer the measles, mumps and rubella vaccines individually.
Habakus lectures widely on the subject of vaccination choices. She found herself deluged with e-mails and phone calls from parents desperately seeking the individual vaccines for their children. Many shared their stories, ranging from contemplating international travel to calling every single compounding pharmacy in the country in an attempt to buy the shots. In response, Habakus organized a massive write-in campaign which was launched yesterday, March 19th, to send a strong message to the vaccine maker. The campaign is supported by the NJ Coalition for Vaccination Choice, Age of Autism, the National Vaccine Information Center and the Autism Action Network. Details about the campaign can be found at www.njvaccinationchoice.org/action, ageofautism.com, www.vaccineawakening.blogspot.com, and http://capwiz.com/a-champ .
Says Habakus, Actions have consequences. We are learning the hard way that the American people must hold industry and government accountable. Parents have stood by and said nothing as vaccine makers profited from the ever increasing number of mandated shots required for school. Merck must listen and respond to the parents of this country. Our children deserve no less. Habakus invites press inquiry about this campaign and information about upcoming events in New Jersey and across the country.

As Follow-Up to the Trenton Vaccination Choice Rally, Parents Meet With NJ Health Commissioner Heather Howard
Meeting Promised By Governor Corzine
December 3, 2008, Trenton, NJ Four parents from the New Jersey Coalition for Vaccination Choice (NJCVC) are meeting with the Commissioner of the NJ Department of Health and Senior Services (NJDHSS) Heather Howard and seven senior members of her department this morning 12/3 at 11:00 a.m. at the DHSS Main Building in Trenton. This meeting was promised by Governor Corzine in September when he addressed a large group of parents gathered on the front lawn of Coalition member Louise Habakus in Middletown after attending a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in honor of then Senator Obama.
Strong public pressure has been steadily building in support of the parental vaccination choice bill currently in the health committees of the Assembly and Senate: A260/S1071, the Conscientious Exemption to Mandatory Vaccination. Seven hundred people rallied in Trenton on October 16, an event which received national and local TV, print and radio coverage. Over ten thousand people have signed a petition in support of this bill. Parents are especially outraged by one of four new mandated vaccines effective this September, a flu shot for young children ages 6 to 59 months as a requirement for daycare and preschool. New Jersey is the first state in the country to mandate the flu shot. The flu shot has become a lightning rod for the issue of parental vaccination choice nationwide.
According to research provided by parents, the flu shot is a controversial vaccine that has never been proven effective. It has been soundly rejected by the broad marketplace and even by most health professionals who refuse to get the shot for themselves. It is no better than placebo for children under two. There are no adequate safety tests performed, in large part because the vaccine must be reformulated annually. And the vast majority of doses contain 25 micrograms of a devastating neurotoxin. Credentialed experts are increasingly coming forward to criticize our nations one size fits all vaccine policy. Dr. Lawrence Rosen, a board-certified pediatrician and Chief of Pediatric Integrative Medicine at Hackensack University Medical Center notes, There are risks associated with all medical procedures, including vaccines, so it is important for parents, and their doctors, to evaluate an individual childs medical history and health, including genetic predispositions and allergies, to determine what is appropriate. Informed consent is the highest standard in the ethical practice of modern medicine.
Parents want to ask the Health Commissioner why NJ must be the first in the country to step up to the plate to mandate this shot. In view of existing and emerging science linking vaccines to neuro-developmental and chronic disease, why wouldnt we err on the side of caution? asks Habakus, who refers to the nearly one thousand studies and findings submitted to Vaccine Court. Indeed, why not wait to hear what our government has to say about these court cases? asks attorney and parent Claudine Liss. All branches of the military recently made the decision to enforce a mandatory flu shot as a requirement for on-base child care programs.
In addition to Commissioner Howard, NJDHSS meeting attendees will be: Mary E O'Dowd, Chief of Staff; Dr. Christina Tan, Deputy Commissioner; Carl Rathjen, Deputy Chief of Staff; Angela Sorrells, Program Manager, Vaccine Preventable Disease Program, Communicable Disease Program; Dr. Barbara Montana, Medical Director, Communicable Disease; Dileep Sarecha, Program Manager, Vaccine Preventable Disease Program, Communicable Disease Program; and Janet DeGraaf, Director, Communicable Disease Program. Parent attendees will be: Louise Kuo Habakus, Maureen Drummond from Long Valley, Claudine Liss from Little Falls and Barbara Majeski from Princeton. The meeting is expected to last one hour. Parents will be available after the meeting or by phone for interviews with the press. NJCVC is comprised of local, state and national organizations and individuals including physicians, attorneys, holistic organizations, vaccine safety and autism support groups. One Thousand People Expected To Rally For Vaccination Choice
at the State House in Trenton, NJ on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 12:00 p.m.
NJ Assemblywoman Charlotte Vandervalk, Board-certified Pediatrician Dr. Lawrence Palevsky and National Vaccine Information Center co-founder Barbara Loe Fisher, will join NJ parents and professionals at a rally in Trenton for vaccination choice. Nearly one thousand people are expected, requiring Trenton to close the streets to accommodate the crowds. The speakers represent a cross-section of society including medical doctors, nurses, chiropractors, scientists, clergy, educators, soldiers, politicians, journalists, autism activists, homeschoolers and many parents. The NJ Coalition for Vaccination Choice (NJCVC) invites you to rally with them by the steps of the State House, outside Gov. Corzine's office. The group opposes the four new vaccine mandates including an annual flu shot for children ages 5 and under, required for daycare and pre-school. NJCVC supports the passage of bill A260/S1071, a conscientious exemption to mandatory immunization which will permit parents to select all, some or no vaccinations for their children. A form of this parental right already exists in 19 other US states. All legislators will be in Trenton for a Special Session. Fox News plans to cover the event. Fox aired a live segment on vaccination choice in NJ on October 9 (see video clip 1 and video clip 2). Press urged to cover this high visual impact event: signs, banners, balloons, photos, children, music, personal stories, legislator appreciation ceremony. Rally Information: Rain or Shine, Thursday, October 16, 2008, Noon- 2 pm, 125 West State Street, Trenton, NJ, www.njvaccinationchoice.org for more rally details.

NJ Coalition for Vaccination Choice Announces October 16th Rally in Trenton.
Voters Encourage Lawmakers to Pass Conscientious Exemption Bill
The New Jersey Coalition for Vaccination Choice (NJCVC) announces a public rally at the State House in Trenton on Thursday, October 16, starting at noon. NJCVC is comprised of local, state and national organizations and individuals including physicians, attorneys, holistic organizations, vaccine safety and autism support groups.
The purpose of the rally is to demonstrate the deep and widespread support that exists across the state for A260/S1071, the Conscientious Exemption to Mandatory Immunization bill, and call for its immediate passage. There are currently thirty-four legislators who are primary- and co-sponsors of this bill. Hundreds of parents, health practitioners and other professionals are expected to gather in Trenton on October 16th to support vaccination choice. Asw Charlotte Vandervalk, the bill's author and primary sponsor in the Assembly, will be one of nearly two dozen speakers who will be addressing rally participants and press. Nineteen other states currently offer their residents a similar exemption. Says Vandervalk, "The lack of controlled safety studies and the extent to which children have been damaged are driving the need for this bill."
New Jersey continues to lead the nation in the number of childhood shots mandated for daycare and school admission, marking a 400% increase since 1983. Four new vaccine mandates were added for New Jersey's children this fall. Joining the voices of thousands of concerned parents, the NJCVC strongly opposes this disturbing trend. "Parents deserve the right to thorough and balanced information about the tradeoffs for a procedure that harms and kills some children. We must have the legal capacity to give consent. Our government should not force families to adhere to a one-size-fits-all vaccine program and deny school admission to those with deeply held beliefs who choose not to comply," says Louise Kuo Habakus, a Middletown resident, leading NJCVC member and parent of two vaccine-injured children.
Dr. Lawrence Rosen, a board-certified pediatrician and Chief of Pediatric Integrative Medicine at Hackensack University Medical Center notes, "There are risks associated with all medical procedures, including vaccines, so it is important for parents, and their doctors, to evaluate an individual child's medical history and health, including genetic predispositions and allergies, to determine what is appropriate. Informed consent is the highest standard in the ethical practice of modern medicine."
Just prior to the rally, Habakus, along with pediatrician Dr. Rosen and investigative journalist David Kirby, were supposed to be meeting with the Commissioner of Health and Senior Services, Heather Howard. This meeting is meant to fulfill a promise made by Governor Corzine to Habakus and over one hundred people who gathered on her front lawn in early September to send an urgent non-partisan message to Senator Obama and other political leaders who were driving by en route to a Democratic National Committee fundraiser. Commissioner Howard recently indicated that she needs to reschedule the meeting but parents are hoping she will reconsider after learning about the rally.
Parents are especially outraged by the newly mandated flu vaccine for daycare and preschool. "New Jersey has the highest autism incidence in the country and we are witnessing an explosion in the numbers of children with special needs, neurodevelopmental and autoimmune conditions including asthma, diabetes, allergies, arthritis, seizures, palsies, OCD and a range of behavioral, attentional and conduct disorders, says Habakus. "The science and the evidence demand caution. Why has New Jersey signed up to be the first jurisdiction ever to force the flu vaccine on anyone, anywhere in the world?"
At the rally, NJCVC will publicly acknowledge the legislative sponsors of A260/S1071. The rally will place the spotlight on the urgent importance of this bill and encourage uncommitted legislators to signal their support for vaccination choice. Senator Obama Disappoints Rallying Parents Outside DNC Fundraiser
I'm Not For Selective Vaccination.
Middletown, NJ - Democratic Presidential candidate, Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) said at a Democratic fundraiser on Friday evening, September 5th that parents should not be given the right to decide which vaccines should be administered to their children.
Obama and Governor Corzine (D-NJ) attended a pair of Democratic National Committee (DNC) fundraisers last Friday evening held at private residences in Middletown, New Jersey . The first was a cocktail reception at the home of DNC Finance Chairman Phil Murphy to begin at 5:00 pm.
Just two houses away, parents started gathering at the home of Louise and Ron Habakus, the parents of two vaccine-injured children. Ms. Habakus is a vocal supporter for federal vaccine reform and vaccination choice in New Jersey. She lectures on vaccine safety and parent choices across New Jersey and is a member of the New Jersey Coalition for Vaccination Choice. www.njvaccinationchoice.org
In response to an e-mail received one day prior to the event, over one hundred people were planning to gather to send a bipartisan message to the politicians whose motorcade would be passing in front of the Habakus residence to and from the event. "The need for vaccine reform is an urgent, party-neutral issue that deeply concerns a great number of American parents. Parents do not see the science supporting this dramatic rise in the number of shots over the past twenty-five years, " says Habakus.
Obama and Corzine arrived separately. Each waved to the supporters but did not stop. They appeared to be running over an hour behind schedule. In response, adults and children alike held up signs and stood next to banners saying Forced Vaccination: Only in America, 1:94 NJ Kids Autistic But Fully Vaccinated, Vax Choice: Moms Know Best.
One of the rallying parents, Claudine Liss, Esq. of Little Falls, New Jersey, attended the DNC reception with the express purpose to speak with Senator Obama. And she succeeded. As he reached out to shake her hand, Ms. Liss said, "Senator Obama, those people rallying outside are with me. And we want to know if you will reform federal vaccine policy. Will you come out to speak with us?"
His immediate and direct reply stunned Ms. Liss: "I am not for selective vaccination. I believe it will bring back deadly diseases like polio." He continued by affirming a commitment to fund more science if required. Not relinquishing his hand, Ms. Liss leaned in and whispered, "Senator, do you see our European friends behind you? They enjoy substantially greater vaccine freedoms in their country and deadly diseases have not returned." He did not specifically respond to the comment but assured Ms. Liss that he would personally read the package she had provided.
Parents described their confusion about unanswered questions and troubling contradictions:
"Doesn't he believe the parents? Thousands have seen their children slip away before their eyes and they blame vaccines."
Obama says he wants change. This sounds like hes siding with Big Pharma as he takes their money.
http://money.cnn.com/2008/03/04/news/companies/pharma_votes/index.htm
If he claims to support Americans with Autism in seeking root causes (www.barackobama.com/issues/healthcare/), dont we deserve a more considered response? How can he dismiss the vaccine link out of hand?
http://www.barackobama.com/pdf/AutismSpectrumDisorders.pdf
As Senator Obama waved again on his way to the second fundraising event, parents expressed deep disappointment that he could not walk thirty feet across the lawn to say hello.
Outside the Habakus front lawn, however, Governor Corzine was stepping out of his car. "How are you all doing? I'm listening and I'm going to study, ok? I understand that there's a lot of debate on this issue."
Corzine complimented the parents on the peaceful event, saying that it made a particular impression on him because they were expressing their views in a responsible and thoughtful way. He offered a meeting with his Commissioner of Health, Heather Howard saying, "We did homework on this and I'm taking the advice of people I trust."
Ms. Habakus asked the Governor to personally investigate this issue. She says, "The issues are admittedly complex. But they are not beyond the capacity of a man who ran one of the most successful investment companies in history. Our children are sicker than ever and the weight of the evidence demands caution. Surely the Governor is equal to the task. For New Jersey residents will evaluate Corzine's legacy by the personal courage underlying the decisions he made, not by the people to whom he delegated."
Ms. Habakus confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that a meeting is currently scheduled with Commissioner Howard.
"Phones are ringing off the hook in all fifty states. Governor Corzine admitted that this issue gets more phone calls and letters in New Jersey than any other issue except tolls. Parents are equally eager to hear a statement from Republican presidential candidate John McCain," says Ms. Habakus.

Parents Must Consider Important Vaccination Options for Their Children
NJ Coalition for Vaccination Choice Announces an Informative Series of Informed Consent Seminars
Middletown, NJ; August 15, 2008: Parents in New Jersey have important vaccination choices to make for their children and should be fully informed of all benefits and risks. According to Dr. Lawrence Rosen, a board-certified pediatrician and Chief of Pediatric Integrative Medicine at Hackensack University Medical Center, There are risks associated with all medical practices, including vaccines, so it is important for parents, along with their doctors, to evaluate an individual childs medical history and health, including genetic predispositions and allergies, to determine what is appropriate. Informed consent is a key ethical principle in medical practice. To help educate New Jersey parents on the choices available to them, the NJ Coalition for Vaccination Choice (NJCVC) will be hosting an informative, interactive lecture series, beginning with: A Vaccination Seminar: What Choices Do Parents Have? for residents statewide. Louise Kuo Habakus, a board-certified health practitioner, NJCVC member, and Middletown parent, will host the lectures and provide parents with important information to help them make informed vaccination decisions.
When a products side effects include Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), encephalitis, seizures, paralysis, arthritis, diabetes, asthma, multiple sclerosis, and anaphylactic shock, parents need to fully understand the risks and benefits of the product in this case, a vaccine before making a critical choice for their children. Vaccination is one of the most significant health decisions that parents make on behalf of their children, Habakus states. Her seminar agenda addresses vaccination safety and efficacy, adverse reactions, proposed benefits, and state exemptions available to parents. Habakus also provides a detailed overview on the Mercks new Gardasil HPV vaccine for girls, as well as the newly mandated vaccines for preschoolers and babies, including the flu shot.
Over the past year, Habakus has been presenting to packed audiences of parents throughout New Jersey and New York. Nancy Gualario, a Registered Nurse, mother to four young children and a recent participant, urges parents to attend: Mrs. Habakus is educated and well-informed. She supports her materials with solid facts. This vaccine lecture should be included in your hospital packet, at the birth of each and every child! Like many parents, Habakus has been frustrated by the misinformation that characterizes the mainstream debate on vaccination and the lack of credible and unbiased resources available to parents attempting to make informed vaccine decisions for their children. Says Habakus, Parents are feeling increasing pressure from pediatricians to make quick, uneducated vaccine decisions, while state public health officials are continuing to mandate more and more vaccines. As of September 2008, New Jerseys children are required to receive a grand total of 36 doses of 13 diseases by age 11, with many more in the pipeline. In fact, New Jersey has the most aggressive vaccine schedule in the nation. New Jersey parents are permitted by law to utilize religious and medical exemptions. Habakus tells parents, Making an active, informed decision begins with an open mind about the facts and mutual respect that these are difficult choices.
Habakus delivers a lively two-hour presentation designed to educate parents on current research and motivate them to do their own homework before making one of the most significant health care decisions in their childrens lives. She collaborates with local, statewide and national parent organizations including the NJ Coalition for Vaccination Choice, the National Vaccine Information Center, and the Coalition for Informed Choice, and presents published studies and documents directly from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) and vaccine manufacturers. As part of her efforts to educate parents, Habakus is also spotlighting vaccination safety films produced by visionary filmmakers who understand and are concerned about this important public health issue. Her first selection is Vaccine Nation, executive produced by Gary Null PhD and produced by Manette Loudon.
Habakus tells parents to do their homework first before scheduling their childs next well visit. Informed consent is essential when considering vaccination.
Habakus seminars are open to the public and the press. Louise Kuo Habakus is a board-certified health practitioner who writes and lectures about vaccination. She is working to prevent vaccine injuries and deaths through public education by empowering people to make informed, voluntary vaccination decisions for themselves and their children. Louise received her Masters and Bachelors degrees from Stanford University and was formerly a managing director for Putnam Investments in Boston, Massachusetts. Louise resides in Middletown, NJ with her husband and two children.
The New Jersey Coalition for Vaccination Choice (NJCVC) is a large network of parents, physicians, holistic organizations and autism support groups, concerned about the increasing number of mandated vaccinations and is educating parents on the need for informed choice. NJCVC is urging legislators to support the Conscientious Exemption to Vaccination bill A260/S1071, while informing parents of their rights to the religious and medical exemptions. If you are interested in attending one of Mrs. Habakus talks, sponsoring a seminar or film in your community or being included on her distribution list, please send your name and hometown to her at vaxRSVP@verizon.net. Upcoming New Jersey seminars in 2008 are scheduled for August 27th in Little Falls, September 4th in Long Hill, September 10th in East Windsor and October 1st in Highlands.

NJ Coalition for Vaccination Choice Supports Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carreys Green Our Vaccines Rally
Thousands Head to Capitol Hill to Raise Awareness of the Toxic Ingredients in Vaccines and Too Many, Too Soon
West Caldwell, NJ, June 2, 2008: New Jersey Coalition for Vaccination Choice (NJCVC), a large network of parents, physicians, holistic organizations and autism support groups, believes parents deserve the right to informed vaccination choice for their children and has been working with NJ legislators to pass the Conscientious Exemption to Mandatory Vaccinations bill A260/S1071. Leading NJCVC members will be marching with Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey, as well as thousands of parents and physicians, on Wednesday, June 4, to support the national historic rally on Capitol Hill: Green Our Vaccines: Too Many Too Soon.
Since 1983, there has been a 260% increase in childhood vaccine mandates. NJCVC strongly opposes this disturbing trend: Parents deserve the right to informed consent and should not be forced to comply with a one-size-fits-all vaccine policy that doesnt acknowledge the unique nature of each child, says Mary DeBonis Soccio a West Caldwell parent and one of the NJCVC leading members. Dr. Lawrence Rosen, a board certified pediatrician and Chief of Pediatric Integrative Medicine at Hackensack University Medical Center notes, There are risks associated with ALL medical practices, including vaccines, so it is important for parents, and their doctors, to evaluate an individual childs medical history and health, including genetic predispositions and allergies, to determine what is appropriate. Informed consent is a key ethical principle in medical practice.
Representatives from NJCVC will join actors Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy as well as thousands of parents of vaccine-injured children from across America on June 4th in Washington, D.C. for the Green Our Vaccines, Too Many, Too Soon, March and Rally. The rally will express the concerns of thousands of parents of autistic children who believe their children's autism was vaccine-induced. Jenny McCarthy joins these parents with the same conclusions about her son Evan, because he made a remarkable recovery from vaccine-induced autism through biomedical intervention therapies.
Rally participants will meet at the Washington Monument for a news conference featuring Jenny McCarthy, Jim Carrey, physicians, and scientists; then, begin the historic march on Capitol Hill. At the conclusion of the march, thousands of parents will be visiting their Congressional Representatives to ask for their support for national legislation already introduced that would remove toxins from vaccines and reassess the current vaccine schedule.
Thousands of parents believe their child's regression into autism was triggered, or caused, by over-vaccination with toxic ingredients found in vaccines, such as mercury, aluminum, formaldehyde, and antifreeze, as well as live viruses. The CDC and AAP dispute this, but independent research and the fist hand accounts of parents tells a different story. Additionally, autistic children around the country have seen dramatic recoveries from vaccine injury and autism when they undergo biomedical intervention therapies.
"We think our health authorities don't want to open this can of worms, so they don't even look or listen to compelling evidence. While there is a strong debate on this topic, many parents of recovered children will tell you they didn't treat their child for autism, they treated them for vaccine injury", says Jenny McCarthy. "If we are going to solve this problem and finally start to reverse the rate of autism, we need to consider changing the vaccine schedule, reducing the number of shots given and removing certain ingredients that could be toxic to some children," says Carrey.
This historic event is sponsored by Talk About Curing Autism, Generation Rescue, HEAL-Healing Every Autistic Life and Moms Against Mercury. For further details and updates on NJCVC and the upcoming rally, please visit: www.njvaccinationchoice.org.

NJ Parent Organization Urges Legislation for Informed Vaccination Choice
Growing Number of State Legislators Sponsor Conscientious Exemption Bill
(insert local town for local newspapers), Caldwell, NJ, (insert date), 2008: New Jerseys Public Health Council, a voluntary seven member panel appointed by the governor, recently voted to mandate four new vaccines to the childhood vaccination schedule. Mandating more vaccines than any other state, NJ will now require children to receive 35 doses of 13 different vaccines. New Jersey Coalition for Vaccination Choice (NJCVC), an emerging network of parents, physicians, holistic organizations and autism support groups, is concerned with the overwhelming number of mandated vaccinations, and is urging legislators to support the Conscientious Exemption to Mandatory Vaccinations bill A260/S1071, as well as repeal the new vaccine mandates. Twenty other states currently have a similar Conscientious vaccine exemption.
Since 1983, there has been a 260% increase in vaccine mandates for NJ children. NJCVC and other organizations are voicing opposition to the disturbing trend. Parents, along with their physicians, should have the right to make educated health decisions regarding vaccinations for their children, just as we do with any medical procedure, says (insert local parent name for local newspapers), a (insert town) resident, concerned parent and member of NJCVC. We should not be forced to comply with a one-size-fits-all vaccine policy that doesnt allow for the unique nature of each child. Dr. Lawrence Rosen, a board certified pediatrician notes, There are risks associated with all medical practices, including vaccines, so it is important for parents, along with their doctors, to evaluate an individual childs medical history and health, including genetic predispositions and allergies, to determine what is appropriate. Informed consent is a key ethical principle in medical practice. According to package inserts created by vaccine manufacturers, vaccine side effects include Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDs), encephalitis, seizures, paralysis, arthritis, diabetes, asthma, multiple sclerosis, and anaphylactic shock.
If the new mandates take effect in September, NJ will become the first state to mandate Flu vaccines for preschool/daycare aged children and Meningococcal vaccines for sixth-graders, setting a nationwide precedent. The new mandates require the Flu vaccine be administered annually for children 6 to 59 months; one Pneumococcal (Prevnar) series (three doses) for ages 2 to 59 months; and Meningococcal and DTaP (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis) boosters will be required for six graders.
Of greatest concern to parents and physicians are New Jerseys soaring autism rates: 1 in 60 boys; 1 in 94 children. Recently, the first of 4,900 autism cases in Federal Vaccine Court involving an Atlanta child, was conceded by US Assistant Attorney General Peter Keisler, on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services, confirming a causal link between vaccines and neurological disorders, like autism.
The fundamental issue we are addressing is allowing parents the rights to make educated health decisions for our own children; this is not a debate over vaccines themselves, says (insert a second parents name), a xx resident and NJCVC member. Currently parents may claim a religious or medical exemption, but these exemptions may be difficult to obtain. To date, eighteen NJ Assembly people and four Senators have signed on as sponsors of NJs Conscientious Exemption to Vaccination bill. (Insert names), our district senator/assemblyman is/is not a co-sponsor; we (thank them for co-sponsoring or call upon them to co-sponsor) this important bill.
